How to Book an Appointment at VFS Canada Nepal
Here are a few ways you can apply for an appointment.

- Online
You can book, reschedule, or cancel your appointment by using the official VFS appointment portal (link here). The system requires you to create your own login credentials before managing appointments.
- Telephone
You can book, reschedule, or cancel your Canada visa appointment by calling the VFS helpline at 977-9801208405 or +977-9801208394, where a contact centre agent will assist you.
A reminder notification is sent 24 hours before the appointment. Applicants must arrive 30 minutes early at the Visa Application Centre.
Another option you have is an Email. A web form for appointment requests. Provide information that is required. Not unnecessary details.
You will receive your appointment letter and reference number after the confirmation. It will be sent to your registered email, along with an SMS confirmation if a mobile number is provided.

Required Documents Before Visiting VFS Canada Nepal
Here are the documents you need for VFS Canada Nepal:

- Confirmation Email
You need to print out the email confirming the details of your appointment. You will receive the email after booking your appointment.
- Passport or Travel Documents
You must carry your passport or other travel documents with at least one blank page for visa stamping.
- Printout of Visa Application Form
You are supposed to bring a printed copy of their completed visa application form. It should include 2 copies of 2D barcode sheets.
Note: No manual amendments to this form will be accepted at the Visa Application Centre.

How much does VFS cost?
The cost for VFS Canada Nepal has been effective from November 1, 2025. You need to pay for biometric and service fees depending on the application type.
- CAD 85 per person
- CAD 170 for a family of 2 or more
- CAD 255 for a group of 3+ performing artists
This fee includes the initial package transmission of your application to the visa office.
“Initial Package Transmission is the mandatory fee for sending your passport and documents to the Canadian processing office.”
Note: Applicants submitting a paper application must pay an Assisted Service fee. Whether or not VFS Canada biometrics are required.
If you are traveling via Canada to other countries (except the US), then you need to make sure to give biometrics once every 10 years. Here, the Biometric fee is not required.
But the Package Transmission fee applies, including the initial submission.
